The new addition to the 4x strategy Old World will send players to ancient Egypt
Go at the time of the pharaohs and the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt in the next DLC for the strategic 4x-game Old World from Hooded Horse and Mohawk Games, which will be released on October 4, 2023. The complement of the Nile pharaoh represents a new narrative campaign with unique events, mechanics, as well as new content for a female campaign. The new DLC will be localized into German, French, Spanish, English, Brazilian Portuguese, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and Japanese languages.
In the new story campaign, players will survive the take -off and fall of one of the most powerful empires of the ancient world – the Kingdom of Kemet (the old name of Egypt). Test the tests and adversities of the ancient Kemet from the moment of its founding, through its golden age and the internal struggle with powerful religious groups, the culmination of which was the collapse of the Bronze Age and the great migration of the “people of the sea”.
This campaign will include unique mechanics, such as the Nile River Cycle, content for a particular script, such as Maat counter, which allows you to track whether your nation is in equilibrium, as well as many new characters, nonsense and chains of events. Pay close attention: you may be in history inspired by the Old Testament book of the outcome.
In a drunker campaign, players can play for a jackpot, recently added a nation, which gained fame after a collapse in the 8th century BC. In addition to the usual set of national bonuses and unique units, Kush is the first nation in the Old World, which received a unique improvement – Kushite pyramids. There are also five dynasties to choose from, for example, Piye, the first Kushite pharaoh, uniting Kush and Egypt under the same rule, and Amaninas, the queen-warrior who led the Kush against the Roman Empire.
Old World – Pharaohs of the Nile will be available in Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store.
